Journey off-the-beaten-track and discover Conwy’s hidden gems. Head to the unspoiled Elwy Valley to find the idyllic villages of Llanfair Talhaearn, Llansannan, Llangernyw and Gwytherin. Head further inland to Hiraethog and get some quiet time in the tranquil villages of Cerrigydrudion, Llanfihangel Glyn Myfyr and Pentrefoelas or visit historic Ruthin with its unique mediaeval houses and world famous castle.

Rhyl and Prestatyn
Experience Rhyl’s amazing Suncentre and see many of the attractions on offer. There is The Crown Green Bowling Centre, Sea-Life Centre, Rhyl's Children's Village, Multiplex Cinema and the 80 metre high Skytower. There are three Sports Centres, indoor bowls at North Wales Bowls Centre Prestatyn, outdoor Crown Green Bowls Tournaments in Rhyl and four Golf Courses set in stunning Wales countryside. Tennis courts, windsurfing, sailing, cricket, swimming, squash, lake fishing at Bodelwyddan, sea fishing at Rhyl, gliding at nearby Rhuallt or cycle one of the many routes around the resort area. For walkers there are many coast and country trails and the start of the famous Offa's Dyke Path which runs from Prestatyn in the north to Chepstow in South Wales.

Like the Welsh Mountain Zoo and Conwy Butterfly Jungle, so it’s perfect for family fun days out. Visit the beautiful gardens at Bodnant, or the wilds of Pensychnant Nature Reserve, where you can be completely alone. Everything you’ve ever wanted to do in the great outdoors is right here. Visit Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre for a massive range of activities. Our coast has some of the best watersport venues in the UK where you can ski, sail and surf but if that’s all a bit too strenuous take it easy and soak up some culture. See Conwy’s prestigious Royal Cambrian Academy art gallery, Wale’s National Portrait gallery at Bodelwyddan Castle or catch a world-class theatre performance at Venue Cymru in Llandudno. For the more active there is huge selection of outdoor activities.
